FIFTEEN+ Easy Healthy Cookies - Recipes for Low-Calorie Cookies

How do baking biscuits ever be quick? You usually have to have a scale, then carefully measure out all the components, caress the dough to ages, then cut out small cookies in to heart, star and moon shapes then wait the next century'til they are baked.

NEVER EVER could I bake biscuits under these conditions. That's just not how I roll up. But then I stumbled upon these Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies (that's what I call them, anyhow.)

Ok, they do not taste just like the cookies you get round Christmas time. Instead they are a little more gooey and don't crumble at all.

However, what mostly convinced me was that you could have them prepared in 25 minutes including the baking time! No shit.

Probably the most surprising thing about the biscuits is they call for just two ingredients! Yep that's correct, and anyone can mix two components.

Though in the event that you want to make them tastier and/or healthier you can pimp them up using some add ons like raisins, walnuts or cinnamon. That is up to you!

It seems increasingly like a sales pitch (it's not -- nobody is gonna pay me if you consume them), but I have to mention yet another amazing thing about those cookies.

They are tasty! Yep, once I'd had the first I finished the remainder inside an hour.

They are perfect for hiking trips or other events where you will need a quick energizing snack on the go. Now I keep them as a fast snack in my backpack.

It also has to be noted that they're vegan. No eggs, no milk, none of the standard cookie suspects. Simply oats and peanuts.

Health Benefits -- Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies

First I wanted to call them"Fitness Cookies" -- because I feel these would be the only truly healthy cookies that have been made by humankind *.

Take oats such as. Not only do they lower your cholesterol levels which consequently can help you stop developing heart disease or diabetes, but they also energize you with great carbohydrates and nutrients to keep you going for longer throughout the day.

These nutrients include manganese, good for bone creation and skin ethics as well as magnesium -- essential for energy generation to allow you to feel fuller

Much like bananas -- the favourite fruit among athletes -- not just because they have an adequate number of good carbohydrates but for being the big players at the potassium video game.

Potassium is a really important nutrient for preventing tiredness and muscle cramps. Pretty good if you've got a challenging day before you.

Because you can see, I'm a huge fan.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F)

Take a bowl and mash the bananas until they're mushy

Insert the cup of yogurt and some of the optional ingredients

Stir until all is well mixed

Place baking paper on the menu so that the cookies do not adhere. If you don't have this make sure to grease the baking tray with butter (or olive oil if you are vegan)

To produce the cookie shape just grab a spoon and garnish a decent amount from the mixture onto the baking tray like I did at the photograph above. It is super fast and easy.

Away it goes into the oven for about 15 - 20 minutes.
